Right now it queries all users, then loops through them to check their roles. That won't work well on sites with a lot of user accounts. It also won't work on sites where the user has more than one role if one of those roles is subscriber.

We can improve it by using the role__in parameter with an array of desired roles. Something like this:

$users = get_users(
	'orderby'  => 'display_name',
	'order'    => 'ASC',
	'role__in' => array( 'contributor', 'author', 'editor', 'administrator' ),
	'number'   => 100
);

Customer requested a Goodreads icon. Looks like it's in Font Awesome 5.0+.

It works in single view, but not index view. When invoked from index/archive view, the nav controls don't work and the slideshow won't auto advance either.
