CodeChef June Challenge Contest

Original report by Anonymous.

CodeChef June 2017 Long Challenge

CodeChef is a not-for-profit educational initiative by Directi, an Indian software company. It was created as a platform to help programmers make it big in the world of algorithms, computer programming and programming contests.

Our Long Challenge is a 10 day monthly coding contest where you can show off your computer programming skills. The significance being - it gives you enough time to think about a problem, try different ways of attacking the problem, read the concepts etc. If you’re usually slow at solving problems and have ample time at hand, this is ideal for you. We’re happy to announce our June challenge for 2017.

End time of virtual contests

Original report by Anonymous.

Please mark the end time of contests like USACO, which can be started within a time window, as the end time of that window + contest length (the end time for someone who starts at the last possible moment). It causes people to discuss solutions while someone's still competing, again and again.

SSL certificate is expired

Original report by Ahmad Zaky (Bitbucket: azaky, GitHub: azaky).

I find your site and API very helpful for the competitive programming community. However, I found the following issue, that causes failure to my bot while fetching contests.

SSL certificate for clist.by was expired on Tue, 07 Nov 2017 08:46:00 UTC according to SSLLabs. This causes warnings when opened with browsers and failure in API calls. Please kindly renew the certificate so that your users (including bots) can continue to make use of your site properly.

I haven't tried this, but consider using automatic renewal script for every 60 days or so. Reference: automatic renewal

Zaky

Show Hackerearth Competitive Challenges Only

Original report by Prateek Garg (Bitbucket: prtk23, ).

Hi,

I am working as a Problem Curator in Hackerearth. As Hackerearth conducts challenges in different domains , due to which it creates a long list of challenges in clist. Due to the same reason, when people decide the date and time of the challenges on their website, specially (competitive) by reffering clist.by, they miss out our important competitive challenges, which leads to clash in time and date. So we have created different api, through which you can only show competitive challenges on clist. It will resolve the mentioned issue. Please find the required end point here .

Regards,
Prateek Garg

Невозможно зарегистрировать команду "Котики"

Original report by Gurealex (Bitbucket: Gurealex, ).

  • удалить из команды "Котики" неверный аккаунт ("Tvala") и добавить туда новый ("TwalaTebello");
  • удалить команду Котики-2.
    Тренер команды
    Гуревич Александр

P.S. Проблема решена. Спасибо за быстрое решение! Гуревич

Filter by Start Time

For example, it would be nice to filter out all Codeforces contests starting between say, 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM from Monday to Friday.

CS Academy hourly contests should not be parsed

Original report by Marian Darius (Bitbucket: [Darius Marian](https://bitbucket.org/Darius Marian), ).

On CS Academy, two contests take place every hour. These contests should not be parsed by clist, as they spam the calendar too much.
These contests are easily traceable, as their JSON contains a field "systemGenerated" which is set to true, as well as their names containing a date and time (dash case) and then the keyword, either "algorithms" or "interviews"
