SUSY-centric disappearing tracks production

Instructions: the following commands entered in order should produce EDM files corresponding to an example signal benchmark defined by an slha file named pMSSM12_MCMC1_27_200970.slha, which is installed by default. To install another slha file for a different signal model and generate events, instructions are given at the bottom of the page.

Initial setup

To test this procedure on another signal point for which there is an slha file with full path <path to slha file>, the following command can be run to install the slha file.

python python/installfrags.py <path to slha file>
cd CMSSW_7_1_25_patch1/src
cmsenv
scram b -j12
cmsenv
cd ../../

Then, the production commands given above can be run after replacing all instances of "pMSSM12_MCMC1_27_200970_step2_AODSIM" with the stem of the new slha file.
