qemu: Unsupported syscall: 374 about armstrap HOT 6 CLOSED

It's a QEMU limitation, it doesn't affect the build process. It can be ignored safely.

thanks. The loop device failure has gone, but the system does not boot. I find the following line in the output:

Might be best to open another call rather than reopen this unrelated call. However ... I got something similar which seemed to be due to the mounts hanging around across builds (and deletes of the .img!) Following http://www.sturge.ca/?p=108 and a reboot solved it in my case (of course it may just have been the reboot). Touch wood, it hasn't happened since.

Ah well.
Looks like the aforemention is not the case. The wheels fall off quietly earlier than I thought when I can't get to the download. Five minutes after the following the file as available again. I wouldn't rush to look at it as it's probably my end but when the wget fails the results are as discussed by antares2001 and similarly observed by myself.
