mkvtoolnix is on version v38 while online they are v43.
What is the correct process for me to push the new version into the repo?

When I search for Eclipse on the packages list, all I get is AdoptOpenJDK JDK with Eclipse OpenJ9, but I just want regular Eclipse not OpenJ9.

Other packages that could be added are CodeLite, Speedcrunch, Unchecky, and Subtitle Edit. However Eclipse is my main concern.

Epic Games Launcher sets it's version once when installed.
Even though automatically updated, Windows doesn't show a new version. It stays on the one on which the programm originally installed.

This causes a problem, because for the update check to work the correct version of the installed epic games launcher needs to be discerned. But it checks the version from the manifest (https://github.com/appget/appget.packages/blob/master/manifests/epic-games-launcher/epic-games-launcher.yaml#L3) against the initially installed version.

After some discussion here and here, I discovered PuTTY's website in its manifest isn't the official one.

I'd make a PR but I'm on my phone right now. I hope I can manage to do it later!

When installed with defaults all is fine. After setting preferred option for general and hotkeys all still fine. Changed the option for "save as" in order to give each screenshot the name i wanted when saved and many things went off.
The button to open folder of screenshots as well as the shortcut to it now opens to 'This PC' instead of the screenshot folder.
The names that i give the screenshots are now showing "name.png.png". The sample displayed in configuration does not show it like that and i cannot find a way to prevent it.

I have tried every combination can see. There is no way to leave "None" for the selection of filetype in case it is automatically done by another process. I tried every combination i could think of.
Love the program and these are the only issues i have and i admit they are minor.

This includes checking for newer versions, scanning for viruses, and making sure download links are still valid." when Chrome apparently hasn't been updated to the current v77? That's a whole 10 versions behind! Why should I trust any of the other packages in your list are treated any better?

I could try and test appget and penzo it's incredible! I am a system administrator and I worked with different software for managing the deployment, your idea is simple and functional (I also tried similar ones like scoop or chocolatey) I think your idea is smarter

I noticed that with the automatic package creation command the reppository folder is generated, in the appget setup, but I noticed that the yaml file created cannot be used anyway

it would be possible to implement the possibility of having an external repository, so that even in the corporate world you can use your software for fast deployments

according to me really is the only feature that is missing, for the rest it is TOP !!!

I installed Atom before using AppGet. AppGet recognized it with the atom-beta-id. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the normal/stable version with atom-id with Appget.
Still AppGet recognizes the installed version with id atom-beta and proposes and update.

I installed MEGAsync before using AppGet. AppGet didn't recognized the version, even though version 4.1.1 was installed. Version 4.2.3 was recommended as an update in AppGet.

Last update for Zoom was 13 days ago. There has ahem been a few updates since then. There should likely be an update almost every day or every other day as well. Not sure how your bot is checking for updates, but I'd request adding the rest of the Zoom lineup and have it check:
