This is a fantastic mod, hope it gets an update, it doesn't support the current version already

Clarification within the config file as to how decreasing or increasing the value affects generation (lower number more/less frequent), higher number more/less frequent) would be nice.

It would be nice to see not only completely intact, but also completely partially and severely damaged variations of existing bridges. For example, the absence of some blocks or entire spans of bridges, or even several supports.
Still, the world of Minecraft assumes that most of the uninhabited structures have not been cared for for a long time.
I assume that there may be problems, for example, with the place where the collapsed part of the bridge was formed at the bottom due to the way the "terrain adjustment" function works for structures.

I like this mod and would like to use it in newer versions of the game

your mod is amazing, shame it doesn't have a version for 1.19.2.
it has a much bigger mod library than 1.20.1, and many modpacks would like to add your mod, mine included.
hope it can be achieved, thanks for making this mod!

Not a mod itself bug.
The Forge 1.20 version cannot be added to the Modrinth custom modpack. Perhaps because of two identical files for downloading, idk. You have to download it from the site manually. Thus, there will be no auto-update function available:

It says that the mod is installed, but it actually isn't. Afterwards, I just can't find it in the modpack mod list or in mods directory.
Btw, the Fabric 1.20 version is installed absolutely fine, probably due to the absence of a duplicate file.
