Clone this repository into whatever directory you'd like to work on it from:

git clone https://github.com/aosingh/SmartBot.git

Switch to develop branch and pull all files

git checkout -b develop
git pull origin develop

First, make sure you have pip.

On Mac:

sudo easy_install pip

On Ubuntu, Debian or Linux Mint::

sudo apt-get install python-pip

Second, install tweepy using pip

pip install tweepy

See Tweepy for more information.

Run the following python class to test the bot. If it prints all the logs and exits with code 0, then the environment is set correctly.

python SmartBotTest.py
