Create a cocoapod

The project should have a cocoapod, preferrably after cocoapods (release) supports Swift.

Fix Autolayout bug in landscape (specific screen sizes)

Simply building and running the project on a release version of iOS8 may fix the issue. If not, then this bug needs to be found and fixed.

Connect to BAAS or custom backend

Connecting the project to a BAAS such as Parse or BAASBox would be complementary to the offline data persistence. Push notification functionality would be expected. Additionally, websocket functionality could be provided via Socket.io or Play framework based servers.

If a BAAS is used, do not include any API Keys or other private information.

Implement a persistent data model

It would be nice use something like CoreData/Realm/NSUserDefaults for offline storage.

Port to Release Version of Swift

Right now the project runs on an outdated beta version of Swift introduced soon after WWDC14 (almost one year ago!). A variety of small adjustments should fix the issue.
