This is due to Antcolony adaptation to FPS, which naturally tries to add ants as soon as possible, up to original nb of ants, which is 4000.
It should be easy to fix (forward new nb of ants to Antcolony, so the 4000 number is updated).
I'll fix that.

If i leave a white block in fixed position with negative z-index, the flip in safari is fucked...
This is a problem because i wanted colony animation to be underneath...

Works ok in Chrome.

I think you changed something in the css.

The animation seems to use some considerable amount of CPU time on some machines. I suggest the animation should pause when it cannot be seen anymore (other tab active, scrolled down on page) and resume when it becomes visible again. Otherwise the CPU fan may distract people from grasping the content of our page.

About what we did in each project. Do a announcement blogpost for each. Take pictures. Explain that we started from zero and got something off the ground. Explain the efforts, the team work, etc.

Most likely because of requestAnimationFrame.
