When the Waiting button is pressed a second time, the light doesn't change back to red after 10250 micro seconds.

I suspect it is because those seconds have already passed by then, and the time counter doesn't reset when the button is reset. Consider resetting the time() function after every iteration and see if there is any progress.

Program fails to close mp3 file after pressing the Waiting button. Should be an easy fix, just add a command to close mp3 file.
