Spare a few minutes each time you’re missing a font, or wanna look for a new one. Do it right from Sketch with FontBuddy Plugin.

HowTo

  • Get the plugin here or at FontBuddy.co
  • Double-click to install.
  • Find FontBuddy under the Sketch ‘Plugins’ menu.
  • Install missing fonts, or look for fresh ones in the catalogue.

If you have some missing fonts that are available for free download (i.e on Google Fonts), FontBuddy will display a tiny message. Click it to see & install missing fonts. That’s it.

In case you haven’t heard of us yet, we’re Anima. We empower designers to achieve more without having to code.

With Anima Toolkit for Sketch you can:

  • Create responsive and interactive High-fidelity prototypes, all inside Sketch.

Crash in Sketch 49

Looks like you're using document.documentData().fontNames(), and that method has been moved to document.immutableDocumentData().fontNames() in Sketch 49.

Selection is lost after using plugin

Steps

  1. Insert Artboard
  2. Insert Text Layer
  3. Run FontBuddy
  4. Hit Save and reload
  5. With the text layer still selected, click on the Typeface drop down

EXPECTED:
✅ Selection is kept and Text Section on the Inspector remains opened

ACTUAL:
🔴 Selection is dropped and Text Section on the Inspector is hidden.

Sketch 76 breaks plugin

With the newest version of Sketch out, this plugin is no longer functional. Maybe it's dead?
