usbcart's Issues

Can't Open in KiCad 5.1.2

I just want to mention that I've got difficulties opening the schematic in KiCad, as it reports missing libraries, and some files are still the old file formats. Is it possible that you've got untracked/unsubmitted files for the KiCad project?

Suggestions: Silkscreen + Flash footprints

I finally got my cart to work! Awesome project!

Some (low priority) suggestions:

  • could you mark the odd and even address flash ROMs on the silkscreen?
  • would it be possible to wire the extra address lines on the flash footprints for 39sf040?
  • is there enough room for through-hole PLCC sockets for the flash, in addition to the SMD footprints?

Build and flash

Hi!
I tried to build pcb and flash it.
I built romimage.bin with this tool: gnush_v10.03_elf-1-1.i386.rpm (it's right compiler?)
Linker outputs this warning:
.../4.5-GNUSH_v10.03/../../../../sh-elf/bin/ld: warning: dot moved backwards before `.rodata.align2'
Is it problem or I can ignore it?

And second question how can I flash firmware to chip? Any information about it would be useful for me. I got fail with swap trick, so I need flash firmware before build cart.

Thank you very much!
