Password_Generator

Summary:

  • Powered by Javascript, HTML, and CSS the following application will generate a random password based on user-selected criteria.

  • The user has the option of selecting a password between the 8 and 128 characters, and from there can increase the security of the password by opting to use uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  • A minimum of one criteria must be selected in order for the application to generate a password.

Instructions:

  • Click the Generate Password button to start the application.
  • Enter the desired character length of password (must be between 8-128 characters)
  • Opt-in to a minimum of one of the following criteria: uppercase, lowercase, special characters, and/or numerical characters.
  • A password will then populate in the text box for the user to copy.

Features:

  • The User may manually copy the generated password found in the text box, or they may click the Copy to Clipboard as a shortcut.

  • The website is responsive and will adjust to multiple screen sizes.
