redis.aspnet.identity's Issues

HowTo outdated?

Hi,

I did successfully use your Redis ASPNetIdentity from a Nancy project from scratch, but the How To regarding MVC 5 seems to be outdated. Do you have a step by step tutorial, which works?

Regards

This needs to use a quicker method than SCAN or KEYS

This uses a key pattern and ServiceStack.Redis.IRedisClient.SearchKeys which uses KEYS and blocks the Redis service. It could use SCAN, but you'd still only be looking on the current server and (as it has to scan the entire store) it's very slow.

Neither KEYS nor SCAN should be used in production, as so rule out use of this library entirely.

It's worth noting that, should you port to using StackExchange.Redis you'll find that KEYS and SCAN are only available on the server.

Instead it should use SMEMBERS to ensure that it remains quick and supports multiple Redis servers.
