Telegram Sports Bot

Telegram bot for displaying the latest news, sports schedules and injury updates.

Install dependencies

Use the package manager pip to install following

make dev

Activate virtual environment

source .venv/bin/activate

Deactivate virtual environment

deactivate

Instructions

  • Create config.py inside the root directory.
  • Define api_key and grab a key from Bot Father.
  • News API for UK and US sports news. 😉

Local Development

Fire up the bot:

python3 bot.py

Deployment to Production

Alternatively, you can deploy your own copy of the app using the web-based flow:
