Hi there,

Yes there are at least 3 ways to do this. One of them is to set the boxcolour = NA:

library(geomtextpath)
#> Loading required package: ggplot2

ggplot(pressure, aes(temperature, pressure)) +
  geom_labelline(label = "Mercury vapor pressure",
fill = "cyan", boxcolour = NA)

Created on 2022-02-18 by the reprex package (v2.0.1)

Two other ways are to:

  • Set boxlinetype = 0
  • Set boxlinewidth = 0

Alternatively, is there a way to specify border color?

Indeed, in the example above, change the NA to a colour. You can also map the boxcolour in the aes() if you want.

Hope this helped!
