Custom Connector for Azure Application insights for Flow monitoring

Hello, The articles are very helpful. I was wondering if there is an existing sample custom connector used to log happy flow & monitor exception in Azure App insights that could be shared. For my scenario i am evaluating best options to monitor enterprise cloud flows centrally (so would like to monitor multiple flows in one place).

Manage Connector Actions DLP via Powershell

Hi Guys

Using the latest Power Platform Admin Module, Get-DLP does not return a property "Connector Actions" in the DLP policy. This means that you can not programmatically set or control connector actions via code.

With over 300 connectors in our "business" DLP, I manually need to go in via the gui and set the associated config.
Is there another way I am missing to achieve programmatic control of "Connector Actions"

Connector actions only seem to be available from the GUI - Example: Read from twitter, not write.

No Logs or Traces in Application Insights

Hello Ali,

I have followed all the steps given in this document, but I see no traces or Logs visible in Application Insights. I am sure I have properly added Instrumentation Key in the Power Apps, App Object.

I have been waiting for more than 2 hours, but no logs or events visible. I even don't see the Users in Usage instead I see "Your app needs to send custom events or page views to Application Insights to use these tools."

What I am really missing here? Can you please help?

How to provide feedback

Hi Everyone,

These articles are intended to be used within the Power Platform community blogging platform which includes its own commenting tooling. However, GitHub provides the authors the ability to track changes to the docs and allows the community to provide feedback and recommendations which in my opinion is a better tool.

If you find an issue, such as a broken link or misinformation, please add them here and we will address as soon as possible.

Thank you again for your feedback!

Discuss: Power Platform Connections and Managed Solutions

Hi Ali, I read your blog on the solution aware deep dive. So far you have come closest to the big puzzle I'm facing.
Ideally we move solutions as managed to production environment. But you always have to change/update the connection. This creates a unmanaged layer on top preventing new updates.
Any thoughts on how we could control this without creating the unmanaged solution layer?
