AlgebraicSolving.jl

A julia package for algebraically solving multivariate polynomial systems.

Installation

AlgebraicSolving requires Julia 1.6 or newer. In principle it can be installed and used like any other Julia package:

julia> using Pkg
julia> Pkg.add("AlgebraicSolving")
julia> using AlgebraicSolving

Output format

Hi,

For this code:

using AlgebraicSolving

R,(x) = PolynomialRing(QQ, ["x"])
real_solutions(Ideal([x[1]^2-2]))

Why is the result given as a rational number?

2-element Vector{Vector{fmpq}}:

Does AlgebraicSolving.jl work on Windows? (I am getting ERROR: UndefVarError: `libmsolve` not defined)
If not, could you share if you consider to add support for Windows some day in the future?
