In some cases you may wish to exclude some folders, such as .git, vendor or npm_modules.

Functionality to be able to exclude specific folders from the backup should be added.

In the script it doesn't factor in if there is a trailing slash character included in any of the set values. A conditional check should be made to strip out any trailing slashes and then append them to the values.

For example, the below will not cause issues currently:

html_location="/var/www/${html}/"

However, this may:

html_location="/var/www/${html}/"

Although there is a comment to say that a trailing slash should always exist, it may be missed.

If someone happens to change parts of the script it may cause unexpected results with folders not being correctly copied.
