let the fan respond to temperature
only enabling the fan when the temp is above 50C.
Confirm value
I suggest changing the menu system to have the value confirmed only when the user exists the item. Currently, the value changes and updates on the fly as the user rotate the encoder which could potentially cause unwanted overshoot.
changing value increments
I would suggest changing the increment for motor current from 1ma to 50ma, and the increment for temperature from 1C to 5C.
Locked in the PID tuning
it would be nice to have a visual indicator or countdown when the system is performing the PID test, to inform the user of the state.
reverse the rotary encoder direction
Changing the default current to 900ma
with the new LDO motor in the kit, the default current could be changed to 900ma from 700ma to get the same torque.
