DNSSD Browser Extension

Overview

Enables Chrome and Firefox to discover websites advertised using DNS Service Discovery via an NPAPI plugin. See http://dnssd.me/ for pre-built packages.

Usage

The included Makefile is narrowly focused on my own needs. It assumes that the plugins have already been compiled and placed in the 'stage/plugins' directory and that it is being run on OS X with Google Chrome located at '/Applications'.

If you distribute (anywhere beyond your own machine) an extension based on this one you must change the identifiers that both it and the plugin use so that conflicts do not occur. If you need help doing this or with reusing the extension or the plugin more generally email me and I'll assist you if I can.
