- in case go for a suitable namespace always @alecandido, or even better @annibale (if available)

The benefit is that I can have them properly served (like when consuming packages from PyPI).

At least a package.json is required (just make pnpm init generate it for the ones that doesn't have one).

Positioning

The rule:

looks suboptimal everywhere, I should try to replace it.

External CSS

Ship two files it's much more complicate than a single one: the style should be written properly in the js.

Border color

Make color of the border an option that:

it is kept to default (-> black) for choices="random" and choices="gradient"
it is optionally triggered by choices="{...}", if values of the object are 2-tuples
- if the values are simple scalars then it is also kept to the default

Or simply invert the color on the background.
