Currently, the Hue Taps control all lights in the bedroom, but the original idea was to use their three buttons to control the ceiling light plus the bedside tables.

Behavior

Use magnetic sensors to:

• turn entrance lights on when the main door is opened;
• turn AC off when a window is opened.

It would be nice to dim all lights in the house at night.

Maybe lower them at sunset? Would need to make sure the window is closed first, though (see #13).

The new HA app for iOS provides decent GPS tracking. OwnTracks is one more moving piece in the puzzle and is not needed anymore.

Not sure what the mirrors use or if there are "smart" versions of them at all.

It would be quite simple to put a smart plug behind the water boiler, so that when the water stops boiling (i.e. power usage drops to 0) everyone in the house gets a notification.

Two of these should do it, they are IFTTT-enabled: Withings Sleep.

HA has native support via the Withings component.

The idea is to use them to track when we are both in bed and trigger the Goodnight script automatically.

The GPS integration in Home Assistant's iOS app has terrible update frequency.

OwnTracks or similar would probably work better.

These are the only two rooms that still have traditional lights, mainly because I couldn't find one that would look good in that room.

My current option is the Philips Hue Amaze.

Currently, some platforms are configured via Lovelace, but this prevents people from seeing them here in the repo. Everything should be configured via YAML.

Should be doable by listening all the time and detecting the doorbell’s frequency.

• Install smart outlet for heater
• Use smart outlet and sensor to bring room to the right temperature
