For large directories, has no sense to create a huge grid of photos.

Allow to paginate by date, location, etc.

for large repositories, or high size files, make thumbs is expensive. avoid remove an recreate all the time

this implies have options like

--thumbs-dir
--title
--image-dir
--index-file

to create definitive index for files

I find myself always issuing

$ ls <img_dir> | wc -l 
818
$ watch 'ls <thumbs_dir> | wc -l'
10
20
...

to show progress, so add it to script
