After some time running, the performance degradation of the local network is getting worse along the time. Is a issue?

Yesterday I've came across this tool for a quick ARP spoof test.

Have used it for a couple of hours on the same laptop and network without any issues.
But today as I tried to run it again, I'm getting this error:

You can see the AIPS scanned these clients without a problem using WinPcap (or nPcap in compatbile WinPcap mode) while on the other hand arpspoof gives out the error Can't resolve victim IP, is it up?.

I tried installing nPcap without WinPcap compatible mode, vice versa and nPcap only or WinPcap only. Nothing worked.

But the other freeware applications like SmartSniff (smsniff) and Advanced IP Scanner (aips) still work.

Edit 1: 192.168.0.8 is my phone. So I'm definitely sure It's on the network! Also no NAT or firewalls are set up because no router options we're tampered with. Everything is the same as it was yesterday (during the tests)

I am attempting to spoof a device that does not want to resolve that I know is up (my own phone). I am guessing mobile phones don't reply the way the arpspoof requires (it doesn't respond to pings at all). Would it be possible to add a feature to just hard code in a MAC that we know exists?

I am experiencing this quite frustrating issue, which might be related to a very slow internet browsing on the victim's device.
After issuing the command with the victim's IP, the following message comes up (at least 100 times, and it keeps going):
Error forwarding packet: send error: PacketSendPacket failed: A device attached to the system is not functioning. (31)

I have tried several possible fixes: reinstalling Wireshark and Npcap, downloading Npcap from its original website, tried disabling my antivirus and running CMD and Powershell in Administrative Mode.

The ARP Poisoning seems to be working fine, I am able to intercept packages and data, but I am not sure if that error is supposed to come up on my machine. I am using Windows 11 on build 22000.527.

KALI-LINUX :please help..after using #arpspoof -i eth0 -t (terget ip) (gateway) #arpspoof -i eth0 -t (gateway) (terget ip) then terget machin cant access internet and then i do ip forword using this command #echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward....but same problem terget machin cant access internet..BUT SAME PROCESS apply on ubuntu (after install all the tool in ubuntu) its work but in kali linux its not working........please help what should i do??

Hi, I've been testing the executable on Windows 10 x64 and everything is working as expected. The only confusion I have is that Wireshark cannot sniff the fake ARP replies (opcode==2) sent by the host. I can confirm that the router's ARP table is poisoned, but cannot see the ARP replies that actually poisoned the router on Wireshark. Do you happen to know the reason for this?

Is it possible to not forward packets, and block the victims internet access? I have tried the --oneway argument, and it doesn't seem to do this.

I am trying to get the packets from my main pc for a pubg radar.
laptop+pc are connected by the same wlan(tried it with lan didnt change anything).
my command on the laptop(win10) is arpspoof.exe 192.168.178.50(gaming pc-ip) tried it with -i 1 and -t(not necessary on win).

The code treats 0 as 'none selected' and then tries a string search.
I suggest you scan for string matches first and if none are found then do the atoi.

Hello, I want to ask is there a way to run arpspoof without having to install Wirehark? For example just add .lib or dll file to generated .exe folder?

I have an interface servicing both 10.40.0.199 and 192.168.1.199
I was trying to find a target at 192.168.1.50 but the scan only checks the first address (10.40...) so it did not know this interface would work for that address.
This is not trivial to fix since iface_info only supports one address at the moment.

Okay so both PCs are my own (we'll call one PC and one laptop). Laptop is the one with arpspoof trying to listen to PCs packets.

1. PC and Laptop can both ping eachother.
2. Arpspoof to PC and the result is "Cannot resolve victim IP"
3. Ping from PC to laptop now returns Timed Out.
4. Ping form laptop to PC now returns Destination Host Unreachable
5. After about 5 - 10 seconds both PC and Laptop can ping eachother again.

Those steps just keep repeating themselves. IP Routing is enabled on my PC, both firewalls completely disabled and no other security software is installed on either PC or Laptop.

i trying to coonect my notebook to my game pc thought arpspoof, but when connected, i can't acess steam.. Google works and some other website work fine, but steam and some others not (github don't work too).

So i am trying to bridge the connection betwen my Game pc and my notebook too see if steam works , but i get this error in arpspoof:

"arpspoof tells that "Can´t find interface (explicity specified or matching victim IP)" <--even that IP is correct 0

If I type "arpspoof.exe ip"
then it says Can't find interface (explicitly specified or matching victim IP) for ip

If I turn on exe file, it says "wpcap.dll" does not exist.
how can I get wpcap.dll?

Sorry to leave this as an "issue" but Github doesn't have private messaging feature. I just wanted to let you know why you've suddenly started getting issue reports from people who don't seem to know what they're doing nor what this utility actually does.

There is a "radar" program (3rd party cheat) for the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) that a lot of cheaters have picked up on recently. One of the methods to set it up without being detected by the game as a cheater is to run arpspoof on a second PC to intercept traffic from the gaming PC. The "radar" program uses winpcap to read the unencrypted game traffic and show enemy locations on the radar. When searching for a Windows arpspoof, yours is the first result on Google. It's also the one that is commonly linked by the radar developers.

Thank you for this project. I don't think any of the open issue reports are actually valid, just cheaters who can't figure out how to set it up.

I have a proxy (http(s)/sockt5) program listening on port 7732, how can I make the traffic go through this port and then connect to the Internet

I get no internet on victim(2nd) pc if I arpspoof that computer ipv4. Any fix please? Also it says redirecting to 192.168.1.1 which is not my pc ip from where I am running arpspoof

Hello, I try to run command "arpspoof.exe 192.16.1.15" and get the message "Resolving victim and target.... Can't resolve victim IP, is it up?" The computer I am using has address 11, the other 2 machines have addresses 15, 16 respectively. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much.

What can I do to make the internet speed normal, I checked the following connections and it seems that I can use ip forwarding, but windows does not provide this command, any suggestions? thanks
