audio-streaming-box's Issues

LCD I2C Direct Connection

Hi Alan. I am trying to build your Music-Streaming-Box and wish to connect a 16x2 LCD display with I2C interface directly to the SDA and SCL terminals on the Pi. However, having followed your instructions I am unable to get any data to the display. Am I doing something wrong?
regards

LCD / LCD Backpack wiring

I am trying to make your project. I found a FM tuner exactly like yours.

  1. Do you happen to have more detailed wiring information about
    a. LCD and Back pack
    b. How you wired up the tuning knob
    c. the breakout board
  2. How did you power the existing front panel?

I am handy with electronics but not as handy as you. Any extra guidance you could provide would be appreciated.

Looking for some troubleshooting help

I have the project completely built. I tested button presses in a test script so that part is known to work.
My configuration is the same as yours.

I have verified the following

  1. In Moode I have enabled LCD Updater
  2. In raspi-config I have enables SPI
  3. I have verified that currentsong.txt is being populated
  4. . I have verified that the docker image is running via docker ps

The issue is that the LCD nor key presses are working.
Not sure what I missed. Not even the momentary push button to GPIO 3 works.

I haven't been able to figure out where the docker container would log errors.

Any thoughts for troubleshooting?

Thanks
