gmail-delay-send's Issues

Allow script to operate w/ label

A user might like to forgo the step to add a label (eg. 'DELAY_SEND'). And just
send things directly from their draft folder.

Entering "None" or deleting the label should allow this.

maestro.bounces.google.com

Thanks for this very useful tool! The setup instructions were very clear and it
is easy to use.

I noticed all emails sent with gmail-delay-send says sent from
"[email protected] via maestro.bounces.google.com" and "mailed-by:
maestro.bounces.google.com"

Is it possible to not have emails showing this "via maestro.bounces.google.com"
and "mailed-by: maestro.bounces.google.com"?

I am using the latest 0.7.5 version.

Thanks again

Support attachments

I think it should be possible. You can get the attachments from a current
message in the form of a blob, and attach a blob to the new message, but need
to figure out the MIME type stuff.

Display real name instead of email adress when sending mail by script

Hi all!

I noticed that just the email adress is shown at the recipient, not the
"display name" (aka my real name). When normally sending mail from the web
interface or through my email client (thunderbird) the correct name is shown.

It there a way to configure/add this for delayed sending as well?

Keep up the great work!
Andreas

Un-Authorized message when sending receipt or error emails

The new google apps script looks like it needs to explicitly request the
MailApp.sendEmail permissions. Before it was enough to request anything with
the MailApp class.

I think gmail delay send will still work (eg. sending mails on a schedule) but
you will not get receipts that the mails were sent correctly.

Practise creating dates - wrong time if minutes are included

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Go to my copy of the spreadsheet
2.Having set my timezone to London (ie GMT)
3.Enter December 2 10:30am into 'Practise creating dates' box

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would expect to see the time entered in the output instead I get:

A dialog saying: 'Fri Dec 02 2011 18:30:00 GMT-0000 (GMT)' would be sent at
'Fri Dec 02 2011 18:30:00 GMT-0000 (GMT)'

However the entry in the box says '12/02/2011 10:30:00' after pressing enter.

The result appears to be out by the amount I had to shift the time zone from to
get to GMT - I remember it said GMT -8 to start with

Won't send email (keeps saying subject line did not match)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
It's difficult to reproduce the issue as it only seems to occur to me. In
addition, no matter what I write in the subject line, it always reads "The
reason for this error was: 'Subject: [insert anything as the subject] did not
match.'

Below are the subject titles I have used.

1. [abuse]
2. abuse
3. abuse report
4. Abuse Report
5. Reporting MST
6. MST
7. Story Trouble

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I keep seeing the error message. 'Parsing Errors'. And it only says that the
subject, whatever it may be, did not match. I'm trying to send the message to
someone but it refuses to send it, the error occurs instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using version 0.7.6. Using Windows 7 (64 Bit operating system). Also using
Google Chrome 23.0.1271.97 m.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have add-ons on. Such as AdBlock and Better Pop Up Blocker. I have disabled
the pop up one, but it still doesn't work. AdBlock shouldn't interfere with it
because I did send test messages to myself, which all worked (with time slot
added too). I have sent the first one, as the instructions read, and it worked
fine (subject line was the same as instructed). The other subjects was
'Testing1', 'Testing2', and 'Testing3', and they were all delivered to me fine.
It seems to not work when it's a different subject.

parse error.
All other examples found on

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.5

Intention to send after x minutes does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.My subject -- +11 minutes
2.Apply DELAY_SEND label and saved in drafts
3.Mail does not go after desired minutes from last saved time, it keeps
increasing the targeted send time

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the mail to go out after 11 minutes (or upto 16 minutes given the 5
minute trigger.)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.75 on firefox 10 windows xp

Please provide any additional information below.

Error in date parsing will send too many emails

When the user enters a date that is incorrectly formatted (eg 'wednes 2pm')
they will receive emails every trigger (5 minutes for most users) notifying
them that there is a problem.

Should be a better way to handle this..

Can not get delayed send to fire unless we run script each time??

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.changed time zone on script(Eastern)/ran script/created label
