Install ChartJsGenerator

From NuGet package manager console

PM> Install-Package ChartJsGenerator -Version 2.0.7

Steps for adding a Chart:

  1. Create a <canvas> element in your HTML file and give it an id.
  2. Get canvas element by ID in your JavaScript file and save it in a variable.
  3. Pass the ChartJsBuilder constructor the name of the variable.
  4. Call StartBuildingChartData() and add Datalabels and Dataset(s). Other methods are optional and are used for customization purposes.
  5. Call CreateDataAndStartBuildingChart() to build chart options.
  6. Calling BuildChart() will return a string.
  7. Add the string returned to your JavaScript file.
