appkido's Issues

Mac version confused by 'uptime' command in .bash_profile

screen shot 2013-05-09 at 11 14 55 am

Hi Andy,

Screen shot attached (I hope). The Mac version is confused on startup by the 'uptime' command in my .bash_profile.

It reports

"Problem loading docs and/or SDK info"

...

The directory "11:14 up 3 days, 13:13, 4 users, load averages: 1.36 1.30 1.03
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer" doesn't exist."

Removing the 'uptime' from .bash_profile allows the app to start normally.

cheers.

Any plans for upgrading appkido?

Currently AppKiDo can't locate sdks included in Xcode versions 6.x. I've done a quick hack to patch the code but I'm looking forward for a more permanent solution as I'm not familiar with OS X development.

Xcode 4.5.2/Doesn't display documentation

Since updating to Xcode 4.5, I've not been able to use AppKiDo for iPhone to view documentation text.

On startup, the frameworks parse without issue. I am able to view the header file for a given class in AppKiDo, but all other panes are empty when selected.

Just checked the console and think I see the problemo. Lots and lots of warnings reading SDK 6.0 doc files:

11/20/12 1:02:45.013 PM AppKiDo-for-iPhone[25217]: [WARNING] could not load contents of file [/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/Documentation/DocSets/com.apple.adc.documentation.AppleiOS6.0.iOSLibrary.docset/Contents/Resources/Documents/documentation/Cocoa/Reference/Foundation/Classes/NSNotificationCenter_Class/Reference/Reference.html]

Is this a known issue, or just something screwed up on my machine?

Build failure.

Build of AppKiDo fails on Xcode 4.6.3, zip file downloaded from github, 6-15-13.
AKGeneralBehaviorDoc.[hm] are referenced in the project file but absent from the files.
Further, the references are to paths outside the project.
Fixed by fetching AKOverviewDoc.[hm] from an older release, renaming to above, changing internal class declarations accordingly, adding to project files, then removing and re-adding the AKGeneralBehaviorDoc.[hm] in the project.
