Doesn't seem to be working with my night elf cat form, the mana bar doesn't show at all.

This bar no longer exists in retail (BfA) and thus needs to be added via an AddOn. Yours is exceptional, however it doesn't support retail.

The only thing that you need to do to make it support retail is change the forms from 1 and 3 to 1 and 2. If you want to keep it as one file instead of branching it you can probably use https://wow.gamepedia.com/WOW_PROJECT_ID and an if statement.

I love the bar for my Druid, but when playing a Paladin, it shows up if I turn on an Aura.

There needs to be a limiter to ensure you're on a druid before activating.

If you have Status Text enabled the Mana Bar sits in top of the text and clips off the bottom. To truly blend with the base UI the text should sit on top of the mana bar.

Placing the entire mana bar layer under the character frame layer might be a solution.
