craft-cp-element-count's Issues

Count only enabled entries

Is there a way to only count enabled entries?

Use case: We have a lot of in-progress blog posts or disabled job postings which skews the at-a-glance view this plugin provides.

Missing Counts

Since upgrading to 3.1, CP element count has started to not sure on some entries - see screenshot. Some are showing fine, others not (mixture of structures and channels).

Tried clearing CP caches etc, no luck.

Tried turning a few plugins off that are CP related, and no luck.

PHP version | 7.1.20
MySQL 5.5.62
Imagick 3.4.3 (ImageMagick 6.8.9-9)
Craft Pro 3.1.0
Yii version 2.0.15.1
Twig version 2.5.0
Guzzle version 6.3.3
Imagine version 0.7-dev

Renaming an asset subfolder appends the counter value

When viewing the assets page, and you have created subfolders:

  1. Right click on a subfolder and select 'Rename folder'.
  2. The dialog popup where you type in the name includes the counter number at the end.

I guess the rename dialog is taking all the text within the A tag to extract the name of the subfolder, which also includes the counter number within the 'cpelementcount-pill' span tag.

Ideally Craft should only extract the text within the 'label' span tag, and not all the text within the A tag. Maybe the fix is better done on their end. I'm not sure what the best workaround might be on your end, other than having an ::after element to display the counter instead, so it's not real text within the A tag.

Duplicates

This is a super handy plug-in, but it's just started showing duplicates badges. Any idea what's going on? (this is a fresh/vanilla install running 3.0.5).

Thanks!

Same count for all categories

I've recently updated a site to Craft 3.1.8 (also using the latest 1.1.0 element count). The entry counts are looking good but the category counts are all the same:

Any ideas on how to debug this? I'm fairly certain this was working pre 3.1 but would need to rollback to check for sure.

Thanks!

Count per user account

We have multiple user accounts per site.
Each user account sees only its own entries.
So we have a situation where user sees 1 entry, but count says 5.
When we login with admin account we have permission to see all five entries, so that count is now ok.

Is it possible to add this as a feature, to count only those entries the user has permissions to see?

Thanks!
