There are missing symbols on Sony devices with Android 4.3 (Tested on Sony Xperia SP and Sony Xperia V). Should be fonts related issue in WebView, but I'm not sure. Look to screenshot attached:

If current date can be found in between list of lessons -> open Reading Screen with lesson index of that found lesson.
If not -> 1st lesson

Typographical Ligatures, like 'fi' are blank. Words like 'confianza' or 'fidelidad' appear as 'con anza' and 'delidad'. This could be mildly annoying or downright confusing in some cases.

Fresh start - > Login screen
No "quarterly ever viewed" -> Quarterlies screen
If cached "quarterly index" -> Lessons view of that quarterly

Use white only logo on the launcher activity
