Advanced Comments by AJ is designed for Trello users who also do a lot of structured note-taking.

It allows you to edit Trello card comments with the ease and comfort of a real note-taking application:

  • a full-screen editor, for more focus / less distractions
  • WYSIWYG Markdown editing
  • outliner-like indentation of bullet points
  • prevent you from accidentally aborting changes without saving

Still not getting it? 🤔

comment-editor-for-trello's Issues

keeps asking me to authorise

From Katherine, by email, on March 1st, 2023:

Hi,

I am trying to use this power up, but it keeps asking me to authorise it even though I have authorised it multiple times.
Is there a fix for this?

Many thanks,
Katherine

Add wysiwyg editor to card descriptions too

Requested by Gautham:

I have been using your Trello Comment Editor and its Awesome. Editing notes is so much easier with your power up. Very Useful.

I have one suggestion.
Can you implement the same editor for Description field too.

The reason I am asking is that Changes made to description field can be tracked and notifications are sent to Slack too whereas history of Trello Comments are not logged by Trello and no Notification is sent to Slack for any changes made to comments.

Allow to disable spell and grammar checking, or to use the right language

This would prevent distracting red blocks everywhere when editing a comment in French language, without having to disable the browser's grammar checking (I just checked: disabling Chrome's grammar checking does not remove the red blocks):

This could be caused by a en-us language specification in any of the components being used on that page. (EDIT: I found none, from Chrome's inspector)

Distribute also as a Chrome Extension

Requested by Gautham:

Your powerup is awesome and if it is possible, please think of creating an chrome extension for the same in the future too.
