A popular maze runner game implemented in C++ using OpenGL, as a part of IEEE-NITK Envision 2019.
For Ubuntu/Debian:
Install OpenGL libraries:
sudo apt-get install mesa-utils
Install freeGlut:
sudo apt-get install freeglut3-dev
Please refer to this to install the necessary libraries in Windows and macOS.
Make sure you have make installed
Build the game with the following command :
mkdir obj
make
./game
I see that you have implemented random maze generation with backtracking. It will look good if this was shown by an animation initially.
Possible extension after the expo;)
The README tells us to ask for a review while contributing from people who aren't maintaining the repository anymore. It would be better to either to update it to whoever is maintaining the repository or remove the section altogether.
Compile the existing code to WASM and host it on GH pages
