Issues with connection in Zoom

If you start meeting in Zoom with AdGuardVPN on it works. But after several seconds (20-30 seconds) i lose ability to hear or see other participants in meeting. However, as they told me, they still can hear me.
If i disconnect AdGuardVPN during meeting, everything starts to work fine.

Handle sign out gracefully

Due to the technical issues, all AG VPN users were signed out automatically on the server-side.

This caused some serious issues in Mac app:

  1. All endpoints looked "offline" instead of simply signing me out.
  2. When I signed out in the app manually and then signed in, endpoints still looked like they're offline.
  3. Only after the app restart the situation normalized.

Expected Behavior

Consumes a reasonable amount of memory and CPU utilization

Actual Behavior

  1. High CPU usage
  2. More and more memory consumed over time until all physical memory is consumed

Всем привет,

требуется антивирус с IDS. Какой антивирус точно будет совместим с работой AdGuard VPN и AdGuard для Mac и не будет препятствовать работе блокировщика контента, DNS-фильтрации и VPN? Это вообще возможно с текущими ограничениями ОС?

Mail > Internet Accounts could not verify email/password whilst AGVPN was connected

When opening Mail with AdGuard VPN connected, Mail prompted me for one of my Outlook email account password via Internet Accounts.
Each attempt to enter the password (4x) with AdGuard VPN connected was incorrect, once AdGuard VPN was disconnected it worked again.

Issue Details

    • macOS 12.0 Beta (21A5248p)
  • Other network-level software:
    • AdGuard for Mac

Expected Behavior

Open Apple Mail and Mail fetches Mail without prompting for email account password.
If the password has expired locally, it is expected that entering the correct password works.

Actual Behavior

With AdGuard VPN connected, Apple Mail prompts for Outlook email password, it states incorrect email/password combo.
When AdGuard VPN is disconnected, all works correctly.

Additional Information

This issue is reproducible by:

  1. Closing Apple Mail
  2. Set AdGuardVPN to connected
  3. Open Apple Mail
  4. Apple Mail prompts for email password
  • This only happens to one of my two Outlook email addresses.
  • All AdGuard VPN settings are default.

IPSec support

Add IPSec protocol for compatibility with some apps.
If this protocol is selected, then domain exclusions, apps exclusions, and DNS server selection won't work.

AdGuard VPN full disk access necessary?

Expected Behavior

AdGuard VPN adds himself to the list of applications that need full disk access without any information.

Actual Behavior

AdGuard VPN should inform the user about this and if necessary the user should be informed to activate full disk access.

Hide menu bar icon feature crashes AdGuard VPN

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the previous version of the VPN
  2. Enable "Hide menu bar icon" feature
  3. Update to the latest version
  4. Launch AdGuard
  5. Disable "Hide menu bar icon" feature
  6. AdGuard VPN crashes

Can't Sign in Adguard VPN

AdGuard VPN is not working along Sophos Home Premium installed

    • Sophos Home Premium, AdGuard for Safari

Expected Behavior

If clicking on "Connect" a VPN tunnel should be established.

Actual Behavior

Clicking on "Connect" nothing happens. After that browsing is no longer possible and device must be restarted.

macOS 11 - Big Sur - Network filtering applications such as Little Snitch or VPN software running in tandem with Sophos Home or other software with network filtering capabilities, may trigger errors or not work at all. If you experience issues with Sophos Home or another network-based program, we recommend either disabling or removing the other program and re-testing functionality.

Crash on 101 (nightly)

Steps to reproduce:

  • enable "Auto-connect on app launch"
  • launch AdGuard VPN (it will try to auto-connect)
  • click on "connect"
  • AdGuard VPN will be crashing
