The hands on part might benefit from "defined goals", e.g. an overview of what you want to achieve at the end of a step. I followed the instructions, but at the end I had something deployed but wasn't exactly sure whether I did everything the right way.

I think it's better to kick-off with hands-on a bit earlier. The first two hours were indeed very interesting, but it's hard to understand all the information at once. Maybe it could be more like a: "Please download xyz, do this ... and this. Let's have a look at the pods. There you can see x pods I'll describe on this slide" as a step-by-step tutorial.
