I’ve been building web experiences for the past 20 years, with a professional background ranging from UX research and design to front-end and back-end development, web accessibility, product management, and beyond. Create separate .zshrc-extras (?) file for customizations that shouldn't be committed?

This would make it easier for me, at least, as I have a number of aliases and other tools that I don't want to commit to the git repo but are annoying to git stash when making public changes…

Put file existence checks around some of the non-standard tools being references (e.g. oh-my-posh)

This might be easier to use if some of the third party tools like oh-my-posh and zsh-syntax-highlighting aren't assumed to be installed.

Add instructions for use to README

The existing README assumes that the reader knows how to clone this repo and point their ZDOTDIR environment variable to it. It'd be better if it had at least that basic detail to explain how one could use this theme.
