Can't install via conda or pip about truvari HOT 2 CLOSED

Trying on Linux I can get it installed via pip.

From what I can gather, the conda "unsatisfiable error" may be due to your existing environment having some incompatibilities. See stack exchange for a potential solution.

For pip on mac, the solution is to install bwapy from from the github repo here. I've pushed a commit which works on my mac, and so might work on yours. Then you can install truvari.

The longer term solution for the mac/bwapy problem is that I'll need to do a lot of testing to make sure the bwapy works across operating systems before I update its pip package and then I'll need to update truvari's bwapy dependency version and then cut a new release of truvari.

If either of these work for you, or you're happy with working on linux, you can close this ticket as I'll be tracking the development ticket separately.
