ickmull's Issues

What about other children of the li? What about multiple children?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a XHTML file with ol li ol li etc structure
2. Run the XSLT script on the XHTML file

The html:
<ol>
<li>123</li>
<li>12345</li>
<li>123567
    <ol>
        <li>123</li>
        <li>12345</li>
        <li>123567
    </ol>
</li>
</ol>

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
<ParagraphStyleRange AppliedParagraphStyle="ParagraphStyle/article%3aol level
0">
<CharacterStyleRange AppliedCharacterStyle="CharacterStyle/$ID/[No character
style]">
    <Content>123</Content>
    <Br/>
    <Content>12345</Content>
    <Br/>
    <Content>123567</Content>
    <Br/>
</CharacterStyleRange>
</ParagraphStyleRange>
<ParagraphStyleRange AppliedParagraphStyle="ParagraphStyle/article%3aol level
1">
<CharacterStyleRange AppliedCharacterStyle="CharacterStyle/$ID/[No character
style]">
        <Content>123</Content>
    <Br/>
    <Content>12345</Content>
    <Br/>
    <Content>123567</Content>
    <Br/>
</CharacterStyleRange>
</ParagraphStyleRange>
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Modified version of tkbr2icml-v044.xsl

Please provide any additional information below.
xHTML is being created via a text editor similar to what is being done with
this project, then feed into the attached script to produce an XML file. Then
it is being automatically placed into an IDML file, not a ICML file. We are
having issues with List and images because they need to be placed in the spread
file.

EM with class ignored

Why does the converter ignores all EMs with a class attribute?

E.g. I have XHTML code like this:

<ul>
</ul>

After converting to icml all LIs with EM class="char" are missing:

<CharacterStyleRange AppliedCharacterStyle="CharacterStyle/[No character
style]"><Content>Pourquoi est-ce que Xavier répare son
vélo?</Content></CharacterStyleRange><Br/></ParagraphStyleRange><ParagraphStyle
Range AppliedParagraphStyle="ParagraphStyle/ul"><CharacterStyleRange
AppliedCharacterStyle="CharacterStyle/[No character style]"><Content>Oh non,
nous voulons faire un tour à vélo dans une
heure.</Content></CharacterStyleRange><Br/></ParagraphStyleRange>

Server Side Plugin

Not a Issue, but a Request:

I have fiddled arround a bit with Ickmull. Its intention seems to be very
usefull, however I could not get it to transform my wordpress html to IDML
files.

Background: We are using WP for our new website. As we are also intending to
have printouts, which are similar to the html pages, I was looking for a
possibilty to import html to DTP software. The first idea was to have css
@media print optimized, than print the html via browser to PDF. A PDF can than
be imported to Illustrator CS6. However the PDF, that is read by Ilustrator is
nearly unusable for further editing.

Now back to Ickmull: Where is the output generated when using your plugin? The
WP Export function still seems to output the same data. XSLTing this data
outputs nothing. XSLTing the WP source pages (HTML) outputs many errors and
stops without result.
My idea is having your export as a server based funtion. Nowadays there is an
XSL transofmation included in php, so that should be straight forward. What we
actually need is a page by page, post by post export.

Would that be possible to do? We are only a small company, but I would be
willing to invest some compensation for a publicly available plugin.
