Instructions:

Requirements:

  • Node.js version: v16.17.0
  • npm version: 8.15.0

Install

npm install

Running app

npm run human-repository

Command Options

  1. Add human
  2. List by age
  3. List by name
  4. List by age group
  5. Exit

Add human

  1. When prompted, enter 1 to add a person.
  2. Enter name.
  3. Enter age.
  4. If data entered is not acceptable, you will be prompted to try again.
  5. Enter 1 to confirm data.
  6. Check data on command screen.

List by age

  1. When prompted, enter 2 to see list of all humans ordered by age (and alphabetically in case of identical ages).

List by name

  1. When prompted, enter 3 to see list of all humans ordered alphabetically, disregarding ages.

List by age group

  1. When prompted, enter 4 to see list of age groups.
  2. Enter number according to age group.
  3. See list of humans in selected age group.

Exit

  1. When prompted, enter 5 to exit repository.
  2. If you wish to interact with the repository again, follow instructions on Running App
