Terminal window resizing during an app does not become reflected into termios until the bash prompt is printed again. All window resizing must be completed, and then the key pressed at the command prompt to recieve a new window size. It may be possible to intercept the SIGWINCH from within bash to do the work needed.

The following code will fix the problem:

  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/data/local/tmp/lib

BOOTCLASSPATH - needs to be tracked and preserved, or "am" calls wont be able to proceed.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH - needs to be preserved and appended to, not merely overwritten or set arbitrarily.
BASH_DIRTRIM - Needs to be set.
Note: HOME directory should not be set by bash as doing so will make it specific to a class of user. Same applies to the PATH variable. The root user will need a path that points to system directories as there is no need for a faked structure for root.
