Its expected, its the way the generator deals with nested structs during codegen, I've assumed they come from the DB and loading the child objects eagerly isnt desired.
Consider:
type Customer {
id: Int!
name: String!
address: Address // one to one relationship, customer needs AddressID
orders: [Order!] // one to many relationship, should probably be left off the model and go back to the resolver to find the orders.
}
