  • Worked for Petrobras during 5 years. During this period, learned a lot about the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Studied abroad for 1 year in the beautiful city of Brighton (UK).
  • Dropped from masters' degree on Recommender Systems after 2.5 years trying to understand and foster serendipity in Recsys.
  • Love pets, kids and elderly people.
  • Vegetarian between 2016 and 2022.
  • I enjoy doing things the right way!
  • Always looking at the bigger picture and optimizing for the long run rather than pursuing short term gains.
  • Like to learn new programming languages and frameworks.

Refresh

The user still cannot refresh the list of recommended songs. Ideally, the user would have the chance to swipe down to refresh the list or click on a refresh button and get the list reloaded.

Buy Action Bar

When the user clicks on the buy icon on action bar, instead of opening the youtube webpage, the amazon link (stream) comes up first.

Unknown issue with Cursor

"Index 266 requested with size of 266". Apparently there's nothing wrong with the code. RandomSongRetriever.java

Screen Orientation

When the user changes the screen orientation - i.e from portrait to landscape - the app is not saving the state of the list. So, when the user comes back, the Activitiy.onCreate is called and the list is built up again, losing the previous list.
