Currently too many events or activities force the player down a certain road - often without any chance of return or no indication at all that the vent will have major impact on future progression.
Begin to implement more active choices like who gets to take ones virginity just to use a single example. This will be opened and existing events will be changed to take advantage of it. A player can have a good relation with someone without necessarily creating lust for itself and vice versa. This also allows for much more precise control of events and actions

This is a function similar to the providence implementation to allow writers to create their stories with a minimum of coding knowledge. Most stories follow very much a pattern - at least code wise. Provide a simple template with very clear coding instructions for those few basic code elements.
Include instructions how to create the 'trigger' call in the connected actual place in the main file and let them load their module via a simple interface. This allows the creators to work with their local version and create complex events without the need to change anything in the main code.
