When logged in, include a button to "save/favorite/read later" any article. Save these into a private channel from each user. Show them in the interface. Maybe show when a saved article is updated.

Explain the nuances of functionality.

Add a database so we can use things like "popularity" for discovery, outside of replies/reposts/stars.

Fill the description/preview box with its "auto-contents" automatically as you type, so it's clear what it will be before posting, encouraging posters to edit it if they want it to be different.

Not sure exactly how to split it. Would've preferred just the domain and username, but that can get sticky with post IDs, if username is numbers.

Allow private posts to be visible to select users.

Identify such posts as "private" somehow.

Alternative to /{channel_id}.

Style headings differently within .single-article areas. E.g., H1 shouldn't be the size of the Longposts title at the top-left of the page.

Add a section for them as well. longposts.net/jazzy/xxxxxx.

There really should be the ability to sign in and create longposts from here with a markdown text editor and everything. And when logged in, to be able to see a list of all the longposts you've made.

Be able to pull up earlier versions of the post, and be able to revert to the old versions (possibly some sort of version comparison tool involved).

Allow creation of "groups" for #16, so you can easily add a list of users to be visible.

Would have to update every post's permissions whenever the list changes?

If logged in and post is public, add ability for users to repost or bookmark the Global post.
