Hi @anselmbradford , thanks for opening an issue. We should definitely update to support the latest version of Stylelint. I'll start taking a look at that and update once a new version is published.

I've just published @18f/[email protected] to NPM which adds support for Stylelint v16. Please let us know if this is working for you now, @anselmbradford .
Separately, I like your suggestion of upgrading to ES Modules, though it's unclear if this will have some backward-compatibility implications for our projects that use this configuration, so we'll want to sort through that first. I wanted to get the Stylelint v16 compatibility published without holding it up by that follow-on work, though let us know if this is a blocker for you in any way.
