Distributor link in topbar not working about distributor HOT 11 CLOSED

Sorry for your challenge getting this installed... Good news: we removed the requirement for a build step while the plugin is beta to make testing easier.

You should now be able to download the current zip (or clone master), then upload to your site and activate. Can you please give it another try?

Having the same issue. Downloaded the zip, uploaded through the plugin interface. Go to plugins/distributor-master and run npm install. The top link is not working. min js, min css etc are being referenced from plugins/distributor-master/dist folder but there is no dist folder and there are no min versions of the files.

I'm also having this issue.

Running npm install products a dist folder with css and js subfolders. Those folders contain .min. files. The assets folder and subfolders do not contain .min. files. Running cp dist/css/* assets/css/ and cp dist/js/* assets/js/ puts everything in the right place and kills errors i'm seeing in my dev console about not allowing load of assets because wrong MIME type (since the MIME type was text/html as it was the 404 page).

Hey guys, we are working on a way to make this a bit more intuitive. Sorry for the confusion. You need to run npm install inside the Distributor plugin folder. Check out the installation steps in the README.

Spent some more time trying to get this to work. npm install fails if you've downloaded the plugin from the readme page named distributor-master.zip. The plugin and directory for it must be 'distributor'. Unpack on your local machine, rename the directory and repack as distributor.zip and then upload, activate and run npm install from the distributor directory.

@adamsilverstein Just updated. Plugin installed fine, but now i'm getting a JS error which causes the distributor button in the admin bar to not work. Running the code that errored in my console directly works fine, so I'm guessing it's a timing issue of some kind.
