THANK YOU!
But there seems to be a glitch. Not a glitch actually, there's a simple solution but maybe you implement something on your side.
Now, restoring the cursor position works when I (re-)open files via Recent Files, that is, if I work on a single file at a time; if multiple files are opened their Recent Files and cursor positions get screwed. Fine, that is expected.
Yet, in working via Recent Files, that is, one file at a time I need to save every one of them even if unmodified before replacing with another recent file, in order to restore cursor positions, otherwise cursors are restored to earlier(?), different positions.
On another note, I could figure out to put the recent files sub menu under a Go main menu on the menubar for easier access and navigation. Since cursor restoration works via recent files, this has become even more convenient now. Perhaps you might consider such an implementation yourself.
