I'm a little confused. Those files aren't in the repository, they are generated
by your local autotools aren't they?
Are you referring to versions in a release tarball?
You could delete the ones you see and run "autoreconf -fiv"

Yes, I am referring to the files in the 1.9.1 release tarball. I know how to
refresh
them locally, but this is tedious for creating (Debian-) packages. ;)

Closing this; when we do a new release, it'll definitely have updated
autoaux/config.guess and autoaux/config.sub because I'll make sure my autotools
are up to date when I generate the release tarball.
