Regarding the discussion over on issue #15, so the only question, then, is whether this should be implemented in Legal module version 2.0.x or 3.0.0.

I need to understand what exactly needs to be done here. I don't understand the initial premise. What needs to be stored and why? I can probably do the work, I just need to understand.

I am about to close this, as I do not see the need for having a dedicated database tables for these few module vars. This would just increase complexity imo. Feel free to reopen if you have any objections about this decision.
